As Issy completed her Virtual Kiltwalk Challenge on Saturday 19th September, she smashed her initial target of £250 raising £3,363.82 to support the centre. This incredible fundraising effort (which closes this evening) will be topped up by 50% from The Hunter Foundation as part of the Kiltwalk 2020 bid to support charities.
If you would still like to donate you can do so until midnight tonight, Monday 21st September.
Leigh-Ann Little shared the following post on social media;
"Sometimes we meet people in life who are truly special. They inspire us and they remind us that there is so much genuine good in the world. Issy Rae is that kind of person. Everyone should have an Issy in their life.
Issy has wanted to do a fundraising challenge for The Oxygen Works and has been involved in many of our events; volunteering and supporting other participants. This Kiltwalk Weekend Issy has smashed her initial target and I am blown away by her tenacity, determination and goodwill to support others. All whilst overcoming her own challenges every single day. Issy has had a rough time recently but testament to who she is, she puts the needs of others before herself"
